The Park School
The Park School, a PK-12, independent day school located on 100 acres in Baltimore, announces the hiring of Andy Scott as its next director of IT and information systems. Mr. Scott has over a decade of experience working in the fields of data, systems, and web applications at multiple independent schools. For the last nine years, he has served Park School as its communications manager. This search came out of an extensive technology assessment and ran in parallel to a library services and instructional technology director search at Park. This role will oversee support services, all back-end technology operations, as well as the school’s enterprise data / systems environment.
Meet the new leader
Andy is a natural coach and leader of many different teams, both technology and athletics. He has served technology and communications teams in his professional roles as database and systems manager. He has also served on the diamond as the varsity baseball team at Park School. Andy holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina, and he also has a masters in education from Christian Brothers University in Memphis
